Ashley Rose Haseltine passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 due to a brain tumor. She was born on March 9, 1992 in Springfield, Missouri to Kenneth T. Haseltine and Melanie Nall Haseltine.
She graduated from Willard High School in 2010 where she participated in band and soccer. She also was active in track, cross country, tae kwon do, the Stream Team, and Relay for Life. She was a student at OTC and was interested in computer technology and psychology. She resided with her family on the family farm where she enjoyed playing with her pets, taking walks by the stream, and watching the wildlife.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Kenneth B. and Geraldine Haseltine.
She is survived by her loving parents; sister, Elizabeth, of the home; and love of her life and fiancé, Josh Jurin, all of Springfield; her maternal grandparents, Wes and Vera Nall of Neosho, Missouri; and her maternal great grandmother , Eva White of Willow Springs, Missouri. She is also survived by her paternal aunt, Barbara (Steve) Cohu; uncle, Stanley Haseltine (Katy Tynes); aunt, Carolyn Haseltine, and uncle, Keith (Becky) Haseltine; also maternal aunt, Robyn (Brad) Welch; and numerous cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life team Hunters for a Cure, of which she was a member, in care of Greenlawn North.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 6-8 p.m., in the funeral home.
