Ralph David Talik was born October 5, 1970 in Rogers, Arkansas to Ralph and Barbara Talik. He grew up enjoying a life of hunting and the outdoors in Jane, Missouri. David graduated from McDonald County High School in 1988. He played football for Central Missouri State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety in 1993. David worked for the Bella Vista Police Department and the McDonald County Sheriff’s Department before he began his career at Bass Pro Shops. David was blessed with a son, Kyler David Talik, on February 22, 1998. Kyler and David enjoyed NASCAR races, fishing, and Kansas City Chiefs football. They made the most of every moment together. Kyler has followed in his father’s footsteps by enjoying and playing football. David’s happiest and proudest moments were when he was watching Kyler play. David was truly proud of the young man that Kyler has become.
