Juanita Lorene Runnels, age 84, of Bolivar,
MO, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Citizens Memorial Hospital Bolivar, MO. She was
born January 21, 1929, in Piggott, AR, to John
and Clara (Slavins) Sprinkle. She was united in marriage to Alfred Gail
Runnels September 24, 1945, and to this union four children were born.
She was preceded in
death by her parents; her husband Alfred Gail
Runnels; and a daughter Patricia Lorene Ellis; five siblings: John Wesley
Sprinkle, Jestel Easterbrook, Jesse Sprinkle, Arlene Everhart, and Carl
Sprinkle.
She is survived by four children: Alfred Darrel Runnels and wife Donna of
Marietta, PA, John Runnels and wife Marsha of Weaubleau, MO, Aimee Lombardo and
husband Joseph of San Bernardino, CA, and Kirsten Runnels of Bolivar, MO; seven
grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and
friends.
In accordance to Juanita’s wishes her body will
be cremated. Private family services
will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel, Bolivar,
MO.
