Clarence Allen Brame, 93, of Springfield, MO, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 in Sonshine Manor Care in Republic, MO. He was born on July 6, 1920 in Battlefield, MO. He graduated from Central High School in Springfield MO, and retired from the railroad.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; a son, Jim & (Ramona) Brame of Ozark, MO; a stepson, Eric B. Levy of Denver, CO; 2 grandchildren, Shellie Brame of St. Louis, MO; Dale and (Angel) Brame of Joplin, MO; a great-grandchild, Jamie of Joplin, and other family members and close friends.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Battlefield. Early in life, he loved to collect coins and was a member of the Ozark Coin Club.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Greenlawn Funeral Home South in Springfield, from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be Friday, January 31, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family asked that donations be made to Baptist Children’s Home, 11300 St. Charles Rock Rd. Bridgeton, MO 63044.
