Vesta M. Kerr, age 96, of Springfield, passed away on February 20, 2014. She was born in Abesville, MO on October 6, 1917, to her parents, Marion and Mabel Eutsler. Vesta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J. Fleet Kerr, her son, John F. Kerr Jr., a granddaughter, Melodie Mayes and two brothers, R.B. Eutsler and Harold Eutsler. She is survived by her daughters, Patti and her husband Bob Gustaveson and Cindy Mayes, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Graveside services will be on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., in Payne Cemetery in Nixa, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Regional Care Hospice, 1328 E. Evergreen, Springfield, MO. Services have been entrusted in Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
