Jimmie Darrell Watts, 68, of Dadeville, MO, passed away late Thursday after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
He was born to Thomas and Iva Watts, April 13, 1945, in Rogersville, MO. He attended and graduated from Rogersville High School, then worked at Mid-American Dairy for 20 years.
Before death, he was surrounded by his wife of 49 years and his six children, Kelly Watts of Ash Grove, MO, Jimmie Watts of Dadeville, MO, Christy Watts of Willard, Julie Mousel of Kansas City, MO, Susan Baldwin of Willard and Amy Watts of Dadeville, MO. He is also survived by his fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved very much, as well as siblings, Thomas Watts Jr of Cave Springs, MO, Norma Wright of Springfield, MO, Geraldine Barkley of Fort Worth, TX and Linda Bass of Springfield, MO.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Thomas and Iva Watts and his youngest brother, Jerry Watts, formerly of Aldrich.
Funeral services will take place at the First Baptist Church, located at 202 W Jackson in Willard, on Wednesday, April 2, at 10:00 AM. Lunch will be served at the church following the services for those in attendance.
