Mary Lou (Lilly) Creek, 82, of Nixa, MO., beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to her heavenly home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 23, 2014 in her home. She was born August 27, 1932 to John and Mary (Martin) Lilly. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Odas, Charlie, Joe Ben, and Buddy Lilly, and her sons; Ronald and Randall Creek. She is survived by and is the beloved mother of Janet Dye. The loving grandmother of five; Melissa Rowden and husband Lee, Tracy Danielson and husband Bryan, Tommy Creek, Jason Dye, and Randy Creek. She is the precious great-grandmother known as “Ma” to 13; Austin, Ryan, Amanda, Allison, Alissa, Paige, Taylor, Bryant, Kailey, Hannah, Ashton, Carson, and Gunnar. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and friends. Mary was a very loving and giving person. She had a great sense of humor and her laugh would instantly bring a smile to your face. She loved writing and expressing her thoughts on paper. Her passion for quilting brought her joy. She spent long hours putting hard work and love into each quilt she made. She enjoyed gong to auctions and was a collector of so many things. Recently she began expanding her book collection and was an avid reader. Mary loved and is loved. She may be gone from this earth but she will forever remain in our hearts until we meet again on the glorious reunion day. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00am on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with graveside services following at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
