David Allen Wade, 52 of Springfield, Mo., went to be with our Heavenly Father on December 20, 2014 after a long sickness. David attended Parkview High School and before his sickness he was a regular attendee of Pathways United Methodist Church. He was an adventurous person and resided in various states such as Colorado and Florida through his employment with a major hotel chains as part of their management team. Upon returning to Springfield he was employed at Mercy Hospital, a job he loved, where he made many friends.He enjoyed collecting antiques, toys, Christmas ornaments and cooking. He enjoyed his time with his family and was a very gracious and strong person.
He was preceded in death by his father, Winston Wade and his mother, Farrel Wade.
He is survived by two sisters, Tammy Bass-Smith of Springfield and Wendy of Ozark, Mo.; two nephews, Jordan Bass and Garren Wade as well as his close cousins John Taylor and Parker Taylor.
Visitation services will be held at 12 noon on January 9, with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. at Greenlawn North.
