Edith Marie Copelin, 88, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in Hollister, Missouri. She was a former resident of Springfield, Missouri. Edith was a nursing assistant at Mercy Health System for many years, and she retired in 1997.
Edith is preceded in death by her husband, Elias “Joe” Copelin. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Doris and Mike Noonan of La Canada, CA; Bill and Down Copelin of Pleasant Hill, MO; Christina and Richard Bagdazian of Poway, CA; David Copelin of Van Nuys, CA; Karen and Reggie Goodin of Reeds Spring, MO, her eleven grandchildren; Molly, Sarah, Daniel, Deborah, John, Matt, Meredith, Whitney, Michael, Jordan, Megan, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015 in Greenlawn Funeral Home South at 10:00 a.m. with the burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
