Robert R. (Robby) O’Neal, 70, passed away on May 29, 2015. Robby was born July 26, 1944 in Springfield, MO to George and Melba (Eoff) O’Neal. He graduated from Parkview High School and attended University of Kansas. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Army from 1965 to 1969. He retired as a police officer for the city of Springfield. Robby was married to Ethel (Freeman) O’Neal. He is survived by his wife, Ethel and his 2 sons, Darin O’Neal and Braidy O’Neal, as well as his siblings Mike O’Neal, Kevin O’Neal and Laurel Wilson-Butts. He was very proud of his sons. Robby was also actively involved in the Missouri Trout Fishermen’s Association. He deeply loved his family and his country.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org.
