Janis Eugene “Gene” Snow, 88 Springfield, passed away Friday in his home, after a long illness. Gene was born on November 1, 1926 in Grove Springs, MO to Albert and Kizzie (Williams) Snow. He was a retired dock worker for Hiland Dairy.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Audrey (Delcour) Snow, in 1997, and by a son; Ricky D. Snow. Survivors include a daughter and her husband Kathy and Charles E. Hardin, of Springfield,two grandsons: Charles Hardin Jr. and Kevin Ray Hardin, a great-grand-daughter: Chelsea, and three great-grandsons: Wesley, Vincent, and Chandler.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with Chaplain Randy Cantrel officiating. Burial will follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
