Betty Jo Hedgpeth, 84, of Marionville, MO, formerly of Nixa, MO, passed away on December 13, 2015, in Springfield, MO. Betty was born on March 4, 1931 to Mark & Rosie (Robinson) Adams. She attended school in Ozark, MO. After graduation, she worked for Fasco in Ozark for many years, and as a CNA. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Hedgpeth in April 1957.
She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Ozark, MO. Her hobbies included gardening, travel, and horseback riding.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark & Rosie (Robinson) Adams; 3 brothers, Floyd Adams, Lloyd Adams, and Joe Adams; 5 sisters, Lula Henry, Isabell Johnston, Gertrude Perryman, Ann Davidson, and Hattie Adams.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Hedgpeth of Marionville, MO; 2 sons, Jerry Hedgpeth and Linza Hedgpeth; 2 daughters, Beverly ( Bob) Lewis; and Sandra ( Lonnie) Littles; 1 grandchild, Bradly Lloyd; 2 great-grandchildren, Parker Lloyd and Colton Lloyd; one brother, Bert Adams; one sister, June Shortt; her dog, Peanut; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a funeral service on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at 2:00 PM, in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Burial will follow in Payne Cemetery in Nixa, MO. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
