Anna Marie (Murphy) Coonce was born March 23, 1920, the daughter of Robert Frederick and Lydia Ann (McGee) Murphy in Farmington, Missouri. Ann worked as a Registered Nurse, graduating from St. Luke’s in St. Louis, Missouri, until the age of 75 and then retiring to enjoy her many hobbies of button collecting, Hallmark Ornament collecting, making jewelry from stones, reading her Bible and many other activities. Ann was a very active member of the Assembly of God Church in Poplar Bluff, MO then moving to Springfield, MO attended the Assembly of God until 2007 when Ann and Clyde moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas and attended East Side Baptist Church.
Ann is survived by her daughters, Diana Curry and her husband Jack, and Carol Ball and her husband Gary. She had two grandchildren Christopher Curry and his wife Brandi and Angela Webb and her husband Mitchell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. Mrs. Coonce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde Ernest Coonce in 2008; her three sisters, Ethel Johnston, Helen Pigg and Nellie Best; and a brother, Lehman Murphy. Born: March 23, 1920 in Farmington, Missouri Passed Away: May 19, 2016 in Mountain Home, Arkansas Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Everyone that she touched in this life always talked about her being a wonderful person and a lady of great faith. She will be deeply missed and remain in the hearts and thoughts of her family and friends forever . . .Remembrance Service will be at Greenlawn South Funeral Home and Graveside Service at Hazelwood Cemetery on Thursday, May 26, 2016. Visitation at 1:00 and services at 2:00. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of North Arkansas.
