Larry Richard Schoen, age 71, of Springfield, MO passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Springfield Healthcare and Rehab Center. Larry was born January 4, 1945 in Perryville County, MO. He was a Vietnam Veteran. Larry worked as a meat-cutter and then as a sales rep for Pinkerton Tobacco and Leggett and Myers and retired from Swedish-March.
Larry was preceded in death by his father Raymond B. Schoen, & mother Juanita E. Schoen, two brothers William R. & Michael L. Schoen.
Survivors include: wife Shirley of the home, son Alan L. (Christie) Schoen, grandchildren: Briana, Ballas and Baydon Schoen of Cape Girardeau, MO, nephew Bill (Tammy) Schoen and their sons, Tyler and Ben of Brighton, MO, brother-in-law Mark L. (Jami) Schmideskamp, nephew Ryan, and nieces Allison and Paige Schmideskamp, brother-in-law Scott Schmideskamp all of Kansas.
Larry was respected and loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with full Military Honors.
