Lyle and Teresa, So very sorry for your loss. Carol and I spent many hours together in high school. We had many of the same likes in extracurricular activities and therefore got to spend extra time outside of the classroom. Carol was in our wedding. She was an awesome friend and will be one of God’s Special Angels.

Lyle & Teresa: So sad to know that your mom is no longer with you. I have great ,memories of time spent with her. Please accept my best wishes for you and blessings for your mom. For many summers beginning in the 1950’s, we visited Grandma Zelma for 2 weeks, on several occasions close to 3 weeks. Several times our visits coincided with the end of the school year in Malvern. I recall so well how your mom had me join her in school over several years at both her middle school and high schools (she was like my “big sister,” where she actually was my “step-aunt.”) I especially recall so well the times spent with her the band room at the old high school ( that was behind Grandma Zelma’s former home) as I seem to recall, she played the cornet quite well (or was it the trumpet?) as I played my Clarinet that I had brought with me. She out-played me big time! Never-the-less, you mom made me feel very welcomed when we visited and wanted to you know of these very nice memories recalling from way back in 1960 possibly into 1961 or 1962…very nice memories that we shall always remember. Sending our prayers and loving thoughts… Douglas .
