Dorothy (Conner) Wallin Robb was born August 31, 1918 to George and Zadie Conner in Chillicothe, MO; she was the youngest of 5 children and passed peacefully on September 4th, 2016. Dorothy is preceded in death by both parents, all of her siblings (Leroy, Edna Irene, Virgil, and George) and their spouses. Ms. Robb outlived both of her husbands, Ewell Wallin of 37 years, with which she had 3 children, and her 2nd husband of 12 years, Jack Robb. She also sadly outlived all 3 of her children and 2 of their spouses (Jerry & Patsy Wallin, James & Fonda Choate, and Robert Wallin), a grandson (Vance Choate), and a great-grandson (Jonathan Urness). Dorothy is survived by her daughter-n-law (Mary Wallin) and 8 remaining grandchildren with their spouses (Vicki Zalascek – Joe, Scott Choate – Cathy, Michael Wallin – Rachel, Valerie Cole – Michael, Pam Wallin Reich – Scott, Kimala Anderson – Scott, Jeremy Wallin – Sherry, and Chad Wallin – Shelly). She had a total of 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Dorothy lived a long 98 years and loved to share stories of all she had experienced; especially her days working at Kentwood Arms meeting many famous tv/movie stars – including Lassie. She had several dear friends and loved spending time with them at the Salvation Army. Ms. Robb trusted Jesus at a young age and passed with great dignity and anticipation of meeting her Savior and all those who have passed before her that she missed so dearly. There will be a graveside service Thursday, September 8, 2016, 1:00pm, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 12:00-1:00pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
