Bonnie, I worked with Randy starting in March 2007 but knew him through Finance at Mercy for five years before then when I was in the then "Clinic Finance Dept" before I moved to the "Hospital Finance Dept." I was Randy's manager for 11 years and spoke with you a few times following the surgery he had in August 2017. I want to express my sincere condolences and sympathy for this tremendous loss. NO ONE could possibly say anything negative about Randy. He was the most genuine, selfless, kind-hearted, thoughtful person. At Mercy, we will miss his quick wit and hilarious sense of humor, and his calm, professional, hard-working nature. I sincerely hope he knew how much he was loved by his co-workers. I'm sending up prayers for you at this time of loss. I've attached a fun photo I snapped the day before his 60th birthday (he took his birthday off work). He was known for his use of post-it notes so we covered his desk with a colorful array that day. We sure do miss Randy.

Randy was such a wonderful man. With his caring heart and his quick wit. He was so special to me, and I am so sad that he is gone too soon. I worked with Randy for 18 years, but I considered him a friend more than a coworker. He was a beloved man who I will never forget. I loved you Randy for being such a good friend, and I will never forget you. You are missed. Denise Fender
