Pamela Gayle Hildebrand, age 72, passed away on May 6. 2020 at Cox Medical Center, Springfield Mo. She was born September 20, 1947 to George Kenneth and Alta Fern (Johnson) Haskins in Hobart Oklahoma. Pamela married Carlos Joe Hildebrand on Jan 14, 1968 in Wichita Falls, Tx. The union between Pamela and Carlos was blessed with two sons, Collins Jason and Chadwick Jacob (Jake) Hildebrand. Pamela enjoyed attending grandchildren’s sports, kayaking, fishing, gardening, feeding fish, sewing her quilt, working puzzle books, spotting deer in the afternoon for their dog and looking at Christmas lights.
Pamela also enjoyed shopping with her sister, daughter-in-law and friends. She spent hours decorating her home, and supervising her husband while he built their two homes. Some of her most memorable vacations were flying to Las Vegas, Nv to ride the Stratosphere Tower and touring Hoover Dam; going to Moody Gardens in Galveston, Tx; the Missouri Botanical Gardens and Zoo in St Louis, Mo; and touring Tablerock Lake on the Branson Belle Riverboat. Pamela was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Gotebo, Ok.
Surviviors include her husband, Carlos Hildebrand, of the home; two sons, Collins and wife Robin Hildebrand of Marshfield, Mo; and Chadwick Jacob (Jake) Hildebrand of Springfield, Mo.
Two grandsons, Zachary and wife Dannyca Hildebrand of Marshfield, Mo; and Seth Hildebrand of Marshfield, Mo.
Two step-grandchildren, Kaliegh Martin and Alex Orthman of Springfield, Mo.
Pamela leaves behind one sister, Sandra and husband Allen Benelli of Tuttle, Ok. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, friends, and her little dog and companion “Petey”.
She was preceded in death by her parents George Casey and Alta Fern Haskins, and her brother John Dale Haskins.
