Betty Louise Pierce 87, Springfield, MO. passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020, after a long illness. She was born in Webster County, MO. on December 4, 1932 to Ira and Letha (Stokes) Bradshaw. A retired waitress, she was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, and especially quilting.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd, and her son, Larry Ray Pierce, who passed away earlier this year. She is survived by her two brothers: Lewis Scroggins and his wife, Freda and Albert Scroggins and his wife, Diann, and one sister: Katherine Cox, her daughter-in-law: Linda Pierce, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2020, at Brighton Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
