I tried several times to call Shorty, but after a code was put on her phone, I had no way to reach her. I tried to call Jr to get the info, but missed him also. I could write a funny funny little book on my sweet humorous lil friend. I stopped often to share some flowers from town with her and little gifts I knew she would enjoy or use. She cried when I had to tell her we were moving out to be near our son. I'd call when the realtor wanted to show our property and ask her if she was up to babysitting me for a while. LOL She even babysitted with several of my house plants tending them in her back yard with her own plants til I could get back to pick them up. She holds a special place in my heart. She loved her family so much and her family loved her just as much. Prayers for her family and keep her memory happy and full of humor by sharing frequently with each other all the little things that made that pint-sized little woman such a big influence in the lives of everyone she met. Never forget her HOOOWDY when wearing her 'minnie pearl hat" and telling her funny jokes that caused all to laugh til we had happy tears rolling down our cheeks. I can just see her "being herself" in Heaven and sure she's flapping her wings just for fun. Thank you Lord for putting Shorty in my life. Hugs to all of you.

Shorty and I were friends for many years in our younger days. My family and her family were together most weekends. Later in life I did not see her as much but she was always a great friend. We shared many happy times and shared several sad times especially with the loss of our children. My prayers are for the rest of the family. She was a wonderful person..

Shorty always made you feel better when she was around. Her smile lit up the room. There wasn't anyone we respected and thought more of. She lived her life with her head up and always moving forward. She went home to her Savior the way she lived her life - in quiet dignity. To those who loved her most the pain of your loss will slowly fade away. The day will come when instead of remembering her with a tear you will remember her with a smile and be grateful she was part of your life.
