Albert William Heatherly, of Springfield Missouri, left this world on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at the age of 92 years in Rogersville MO.  He was born to Dewey Heatherly and Alice Bullard Heatherly on September 2, 1928 in Whitewater, KS.

On September 11, 1949 Albert married Bettie L Swofford and together they had 3 children.   He is survived by Bettie, his wife of 71 years; children Douglas (wife Barbara) of Florida, Nicholas (wife Teresa) and Melanie Easterly (husband Rex) both of Springfield.  A loving sister Helen Hackworth of California; Grandchildren Kathryn Woerner (husband Gary), Carolyn Condon (husband Jeff), James Heatherly (wife Diane), John Heatherly, Mathew Heatherly, 6 great grandchildren, Andrew, Audrey, Lauren, Daphne, Nora and Morgan, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Nedra Delores Orth, 2 brothers, Walter Heatherly and  Lawrence Heatherly.

Albert was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and great grandpa.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling and working in his yard after retiring from Kraft Foods in 1985 after 27 years.

He accepted the Lord in November 1949 and was a member of the Schweitzer United Methodist Church in Springfield MO.  He and his father were baptized at the same time in Three Rivers in Exeter CA in 1949.

A private graveside service will be held on Monday with a celebration of life to be held at a future date.
