Billy Gene Glass III, 37 year old, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on Friday November 20, 2020.
He was born on October 5, 1983 at St. Anthony’s hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He worked along side of his parents at Hartman Walsh Painting Company for several years.
He is survived by his parents, Billy Glass Jr. and Kim Glass; his big sister Nichole Upshaw; little sister Claira Glass; two nephews, Ezzy and Emmett Garcia; three nieces, Chloe Glass, Harper and Blake Upshaw; maternal Grandmother, Linda Maul; paternal Grandmother, Phyllis Glass; two aunts; and four uncles.
Billy’s love for his family and passion for caring for and playing with his nieces and nephews will keep him alive in our hearts. His life testimony will be his legacy, it will continue to be an inspiration to his family, friends and countless others for years to come. Billy’s humility, kindness towards all people, and the choice he made each day to see the best in everyone, should be aspirations for all.
He was preceded in death by his paternal Grandfather, Billy Glass Sr.; maternal Grandfather, Reggie Peterson; and uncle, Richard Glass.
Visitation and services are being held at the Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3506 N National Ave, Springfield MO visitation is Friday November 27th from 5pm – 7pm and the service is Saturday at 1p.m.
