Leona Marilyn Mulherin (Lee) age 82, passed away December 24, 2020 at home in Las Vegas, NV.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, January 6, 2021 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson, Missouri. Lee will be interned next to her husband Dennis Mulherin at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Mo.
She was born on December 6, 1938 in Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of Nathan Brown and Lillian Nachschoen Brown. She would later graduate high school in Omaha in 1956. She had three children (Cynthia, Linda and David) by her first marriage to Benjamin Abramson.
In 1968 she married was married to Dennis Mulherin and they relocated to Las Vegas, NV in 1969. Here she would become a business manager in the medical field. Later in 2003 they both retired and moved to Ridgedale, Missouri to live near the lake, where they loved the view and the small-town feel. In 2018, Lee, then widowed moved back to Las Vegas to be closer to her family. Lee loved to laugh and enjoyed life to it’s fullest. She loved to go dancing. She also enjoyed traveling, shopping and eating out……and boy did she have a sweet tooth!
Lee is survived by her three children; Cynthia Raimo and husband Ron of Kirbyville, Missouri, Linda Mitchum and husband Jerry of Las Vegas, NV, and David Abramson and wife Tami of Glendale, AZ. Three grandchildren; Stephany, Tyler and Megan and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Mulherin, her parents, Nathan and Lillian Brown, and her younger brother Louis Brown. Being surrounded by family and friends brought Lee the utmost joy, as it did to those around her. Our memories of her will be cherished forever.
