Joiceann Goodwin, 83 of Springfield, Missouri departed this life for her heavenly home on February 12, 2021. Joiceann was born in Baxter Springs, Kansas to Josephine and Clayton W. Manning. She graduated from Springfield Senior High. Joiceann worked at Drury University, retired from the Springfield News Leader and Bass Pro Shops Corporate Offices. She enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren and great grandsons, playing slot machines and bingo. She married Jerry Goodwin, Sr. on May 4, 1958.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry R. Goodwin, Sr., her parents, Clayton W. “CW”and Josephine Manning, and her sister and brother-in-law, Eva Rose and Robert Leon Gronniger.

Joiceann is survived by her three children, Jerry “Jay” Goodwin, Jr., Joi (Bart) Bates and Jason Goodwin, her four grandchildren, Ashley (Kyle) Davis, Talon (Bailey) Bates, Trace Goodwin, Traydon Goodwin, her two great grandsons, Kash and Kolt Davis, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Compassus Hospice Care. Graveside services by Greenlawn Funeral Home North will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Bass Chapel Cemetery in Strafford, Missouri.
