Our loving mom, Sandra Sue Thomas (Sandi) went to heaven to be with our dad Charles Michael Thomas (Mike) at 10:24p.m. on April 6 2021. Her life began on January 8, 1948. She loved her son, Shawn, and was a stay-at-home mom enjoying raising him. Later in life she owned a small business specializing in saltwater fish. She was a strong independent woman with a zest for life. She showed dogs in championships and loved owning exotic birds, cats, and dogs. She was a caring person who would selflessly help others. She had a funny sense of humor and a stubborn “go-getter” personality.

At her death she was surrounded by the comforting love of her son, Shawn, her daughter-in-law (daughter) Brenda, her grandchildren Abbey and Wyatt, and her little dog Tucker. She is also survived by her sister Vicki Jo, brothers-in-law Junior and Terry, niece Christie, nephew Chad, as well as a grandson Shawn !!.

Services privately held, care was entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home of Springfield, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to C.A.R.E. Animal Rescue on West Sunshine, Springfield, MO in her honor.
