Dixie Johnson peacefully passed away on July 12, 2021 at the age of 74 in her home in Branson Missouri. Dixie was born on October 17, 1946 to Hugh and Dorothy Brown. Dennis and Dixie married on September 4, 1965 and had 2 children, Colleen (Jim) and Dennis (Melissa). Dixie had 8 grandchildren who loved her fiercely and will miss her tremendously Justin (Shantel), Dennis III, Jesse (Jessica), Sydney, Hailey, Nick, Tyler, and Noelle. She was also loved by her 3 great-grandchildren Lily, Liam, and Lincoln. Dixie was also dearly loved by other close family members and adored by many friends who will miss her. Dixie never met a stranger. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Joe.

A native of Chicago, Dixie and Dennis Sr. eventually put their roots down in Branson. Dixie could often be found in the local theaters in Branson she enjoyed the entertainment Branson had to offer. She enjoyed going on cruises to many different destinations and road trips to visiting family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM at which time there will be a short service. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Friday at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
