Evelyn L. (Sellman) Truitt, 92 , of Springfield passed away Tuesday, July 27th, 2021 at The Montclair .
Evelyn was born March 22, 1929 in Springfield, Ohio , she was the daughter of Frank and Dorothy Sellman. Evelyn was united in marriage to William Truitt (LT. Col. ret. U.S.A.F.) on December 24, 1948, in Springfield, Ohio. Evelyn lived in Colorado Springs, CO from 1962 until moving to Springfield in 2014.
Survivors include three daughters, Sue Truitt and Peggy Schueler, of Colorado Springs, CO and Donni Franiak and husband Tom of Highlandville, MO; two grandchildren:; five great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Truitt, parents, Frank and Dorothy Sellman; and two sisters, Betty Hughes and Naomi Thompson.
