Norma June Mikels, 85, passed on peacefully to be with the Lord on August 1st 2021. Norma was born June 14th, 1936 to Harlon and Mary Clark Kelley in Bedford, Indiana. She married the love of her life, Kenneth E. Mikels, July 26, 1952. Together they had 3 beautiful daughters. Norma is survived by daughter Mary, her husband David Johnson; daughter Kelley, her husband Randy Johnson and daughter Rita and her husband, Harold Hale. As well as 7 granddaughters, 4 great granddaughters and 4 great grandsons;

She is also survived by her brother Oliver Stanley Kelley, Sister Barbara Joan Wubben (Robert), of Springville, IN, a sister Rebecca Goss of Bedford, IN, and a sister Beverly Fletcher (Larry) of Brookhaven, MS. And a host of nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers William and Jack Kelley, and sister Vera York. Norma was the definition of a Prayer Warrior. She held onto her faith and the wisdom of the Lord. God made her with the best ingredients. She was a blend of loving, compassionate, funny and stubborn but with a rather large dash of feistiness. She will be forever loved, forever missed and forever remembered. She will reside in our hearts until we’re reunited again.

Graveside services for Norma will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery 5201 South Southwood Springfield, Missouri 65804 under the care of greenlawn Funeral Home East.
