Steven Ray Moreland, 49, of Gilmer, Texas passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021. He was born on July 21, 1972, to Virgil Moreland and Gloria (Harrington) Pendergrass in Fort Worth, Texas. Steven was a graduate of Killeen High School. He was united in marriage to Angela (Clark) Moreland on October 16, 2019.

Steven was a truck driver for 28 years. He was a human atlas. He was a real King of the Road and a family man. He was a loving father and grandfather to all of his children and grandchildren. Steven was happiest when he was with his kids. He was a devoted and caring husband to his wife and never left her side. They spent their entire marriage on the road sharing and experiencing the best days of their lives. Steven was the life of the party, you could always hear him, and knew he was in the room. He was larger than life.

Steven was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Juanita Harrington.  He is survived by his wife, Angela Moreland; his children: Seth (Rebekah), Laura (Jared), Stacy, Jake, Haley (Nic), Tyler, Miley, and Raegan; eight grandchildren; his dad, Virgil Moreland; his mom, Gloria Pendergrass; sisters; longtime brother and best friend, Tony Clagett, and many family members and friends.

Services for Steven will be scheduled at a later date and will take place in Texas.
