Jimmie Dale Dickens 69, Springfield, MO. passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022, in his home, after a long illness. He was born on January 16, 1953, in Springfield, MO. to Claude and Jeweldean (Pierce) Dickens. He was a retired foreman for Kraft Core Box Company. In his spare time, he loved watching Law & Order-Special Units on T.V. as well as Sports. He also loved playing Country Music, on his guitar, fishing, and was a wrestling fan.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Roy Dickens. He is survived by his wife, Johnna M. (Smith) Dickens, they were married March 29, 1999, in Miami, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his children: J.D. Dickens and his girlfriend, Dawn Sanford, (Nixa, MO.) Joshua Dickens, (Springfield, MO.) Justin Dickens, (Springfield, MO.) and Kiley Wages (state of Louisiana), and other children, his grandchildren: Austin and Briana and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers: Audie Dickens (Texas), Jerry and Sharon Dickens (Marshfield, MO.), and Dean and Martha Dickens (Springfield, MO.) his sisters: Tootsie Dickens, Pat and Richard Naegler (Springfield, MO.), and Sandy Dickens (Springfield, MO). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2022, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. No viewing or visitation is planned.
