It is with great sadness that the family of Cheryl J. Love announce her passing on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the age of 59.
Cheryl will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Jerry D. Love, and her children, Trisha Oden and Jeffrey Love, along with their spouses, Joe Oden and Sarah Love. She was the proud “Granny” to her seven grandchildren, Taylor, Jaden, Kaitlyn, Zachary, Noah, Abigail, and Jaxon. She was survived by her parents, Donnie and Jean Hodges. She was the baby sister to Marie Gattis, and the older sister to Barbara Stanger, Donnie Hodges, John Hodges, Will Hodges, Rachel Davis, and Becky Lee. She was “Aunt Cheryl” to numerous nieces and nephews.
Her talents touched many lives, as she was a “jack of all trades” and able to do about anything she put her mind to accomplish. But her greatest gift was her devout passion for Jesus and the Word of God. From the age of eight, she had unwavering faith and built her life upon His firm foundation. Preaching was her favorite thing to do, and she would never turn down an opportunity. She pointed everyone she knew to Jesus, and was an example of his unconditional love.
Please join Cheryl’s family in celebrating her life on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson with burial to follow in Eisenhour Cemetery near Reeds Spring, Missouri. Visitation hours will be held Thursday, June 9th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
