Joyce Kay Boatman, 76, Lebanon, MO. passed away in Mercy Hospital, Lebanon, MO. on August 14, 2022. She was born in Springfield, MO. on October 29, 1945, to: Vancel E. and Geneva B. (Lee) Phipps. She prided herself in being a homemaker, mother and grand-mother. On December 21, 1962, she was united in marriage to James Marion Boatman, in Springfield, MO. Kay dedicated her life to her loved ones, Her family was the most important aspect of her life.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Barbara Ann Bowker. She is survived by her husband, James M. Boatman, her son: James Boatman and his wife, Kelly, her daughter: Marion Young and her husband, Michael Young, two grand-daughters: Melisa Bowlin and her husband, Troy Bowlin, and Ashley Rush and her husband, Garrett Rush, and her grandson: Christian Young, as well as her great-grandchildren: Miya Bowlin and Waylon Rush.
No services are planned. Burial will be at a later date in Mt. Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, at a later date.
