Robert “Bob” Paul Edmondson, age 81, of Springfield, departed this life on September 10, 2022, in his home after a lingering illness. Bob was born to Hanford and Thelma (Johnson) Edmondson on September 26, 1940, in West Plains. He married the love of his life, Charlene (Wilkerson) Edmondson on May 29, 1964. Bob proudly served our nation in the United States Army. He took great pride in being a Mason, Shriner, and Teamster. Bob retired from Mid-Am after 42 years of employment as a lab technician. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Lisa Davis. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Charlene; his brother, Bill; his sister, Patty Wilcox; several nieces and nephews; and a host of great friends. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 1:00 pm, in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Fair Grove.
