Ella Jane (Wilkins) Phillips departed this life at 6:10 am September 15, 2022, at Glendale Gardens Nursing Care. Ella Jane was born on April 28, 1933 to Herman and Bessie Wilkins on the family farm in Clever, Mo. She graduated from Clever High School in 1951 and on July 4, 1952, she married her high school sweetheart Eugene Phillips, who preceded her in death.
Ella Jane retired from Kraft Foods after 22 ½ years. She was a member of the Henderson Baptist Church in Rogersville, Mo.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters Mildred Cobb and Merle Prater, and 1 brother Gene Wilkins.
She is survived by her son Danny Phillips and wife Paulette of Lake Wales, Florida, 3 grandsons Gregory and Lieren Phillips, Ozark, Mo., Bradley Phillips, Springfield, Mo., Douglas and Bethany Phillips, Whitehall, AR. and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Ella will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Burial will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
