Louise Cooper of Springfield, Missouri entered into God’s kingdom on Saturday, October 22, 2022. She was born on January 3, 1944, to Thomas Elmer Wright and Ollie Mae Wright in Gassville, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Willie Cooper, two sisters; Inez McFarland of Gassville, Arkansas and Goldie Bobbitt of Lake City, Arkansas, one son-in-law; Tracy Stephens, and a great-grandson; August Stephens. She is survived by her children; Ray and Charlotte Smith of Pittsburg, Texas, Sharon Stephens of Springfield, Missouri, David and Marlene Cooper of Seymour, Missouri, and Kim Cooper of Republic, Missouri. She was a loving Mamaw to 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, with 2 more expected soon. Louise is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Louise was an emergency room nurse for Cox Health Systems from 1992-2019. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, sitting on the beach and watching cooking shows.
Graveside services will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 1:00pm.
