Flora Anna Gray (also known as Betty and GG), 84, of Morrisville, Missouri, passed away on December 15, 2022, in Bolivar, Missouri. Flora was born on June 23, 1938, in Brighton, Missouri, to Mack and Mary Colvard.

Flora attended school in Pleasant Hope. She was a nurse’s aide for most of her career. Before her hands and eyes prevented it, she loved to crochet. She loved flowers, whether inside or outside. In her younger years, she sang on the radio with several members of her family. She was told she sounded like Kitty Wells. Flora’s greatest joy in life was her family.

Flora is preceded in death by her parents, Mack Nelson Colvard and Mary Neoma (Clark) Colvard; two children, Juanita Annette and Richard Daniel; grandson, Darren Wesley Gray; and two brothers, Henry (Buster) Colvard and Junior Colvard.

She is survived by her sons: David Wayne Gray (Annette) of Morrisville, Missouri, and Michael Dale Gray (Carole) of Brighton, Missouri; granddaughter Chrystal Jones of Morrisville, Missouri; grandson, Dustin Gray (Jessie) of Brighton, Missouri; and great-grandchildren: Kylie, Keeton, and Kolton Jones, Alice and Josie Gray; six sisters: Mildred, Nancy, Mary Lou, Hazel Dolly, Linda, and Zelphia Sue; brother, Robert (Bob); and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Flora will be held on December 19, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pitts Chapel in Bolivar, Missouri. Her funeral service will be held on December 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Pitts Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery near Willard, Missouri.
