Kevin Lee Ashlock, Sr. passed away at the age of 57, on Sunday, February 26, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. Kevin was born to Donald Lee Ashlock and Jo Ella Ashlock at St. John’s Hospital (presently Mercy) in Springfield, MO on March 7, 1965.

Kevin is survived by son and daughter-in-law Kevin Lee Ashlock, Jr. and Ashley Cameron of Bolivar, ex-wife Peggy Laird of Bolivar, father and step-mother Donald and Janice Ashlock of Fairplay, mother Jo Ella Ashlock of Bolivar, brother Mike Ashlock  and partner Chester Chesterfield of Goodson, brother and sister-in-law Kirk and Sarah Ashlock of Grain Valley, sister and brother-in-law Tara and John Wieland of Jefferson City, nieces and nephews; Wyatt Walker, Nancy Walker, Jared Walker, Abigail and Ethan Sawyer and Allison Ashlock, and many great nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by a sister Tammy Jo Walker and grandson Ethen Davis.

Kevin Lee Ashlock, Sr.’s final wishes to be cremated and laid to rest at the Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar, MO will be honored by his family. There will be a celebration of life service held in his memory at Pitt’s Funeral Home in Bolivar on Saturday March 11th at 2pm, with Glenn Roberts officiating.
