Pasty Ann (Napier) Glenn was born on Monday March 31, 1941 in Seymour, Missouri. Her parents were George and Alma Elizabeth (Hyder) Napier. She grew up on a rural dairy farm with her eleven brothers and sisters. She enjoyed talking to her family and telling her stories of growing up, especially walking in the snow to and from the school house. At 17 she married and started her family, having five children; Debbie, Rickey, Joe, Rich, and Tammy.
Patsy was a God loving woman who never met stranger. During her life time she worked at Lily Tulip/ Sweetheart Cup for 33 years until she retired in 2003. She enjoyed spending time with friends, playing card and board games with loved ones, and was a part of the red hat ladies. Patsy, had a love for traveling, visiting most of the fifty states. Among those she had a cross county trip to Alaska in her sister’s RV and a trip to the Smokey Mountains with her sisters Bertha and Dorothy and families. She also enjoyed traveling to New York for her great granddaughters’ birthdays and to Pennsylvania for her granddaughters wedding. What she seemed to love most was her visits with Joe wherever he lived and traveling with all of her children and grandchildren.
Patsy was the backbone of her family, always stepping up to help when needed. Whether it was sitting at the hospital with family or driving to pick up one of her loved ones. Whatever our need, we could always count on her to be there, no questions asked. She loved her family fiercely.
Patsy had a love for Hallmark movies, Christmas, and snow. She even hoped to get snowed in when visiting Joe in Kansas. She enjoyed talking to the phone to friends and family. Everyone enjoyed the phone calls that they had with Patsy, and will miss them dearly.
Patsy was preceded in death by: her parents George and Alma Elizabeth, all of her brothers and sisters: Otis, Olen , Howard, Bill, Gene, Jim, Betty Davis, Geneva Johnson, Bertha Bennett, Dorothy Alexander, and Goldie, two sons Rickey Glenn and Rich Glenn, and her son-in-law Dudley Brown.
She is survived by her daughters Debbie Brown of Nixa, MO and Tammy (Bob) Myers of Seymour, MO, and son Joe Glenn of Shawnee, KS, and daughter-in-law Teresa Glenn. Pasty had 4 grandchildren: Dakota (Meagan) Glenn of Bolivar, MO, Mandy (Aaron) Clark of Strafford, MO, Clayton Glenn of Bolivar, MO, and Shane Myers of Bakersfield, CA. She got to experience being a great-grandmother to 6 beautiful great-granddaughters, Mary-Anne Glenn, Ryleigh Clark, Kalleigh Clark, Hadleigh Clark, Ellie Glenn, and Charlie Glenn. Patsy had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that she loved dearly as well.
