I was very sorry to hear of Jimmie’s passing. I worked with Jimmie when we wore tan uniforms. He was a great guy to work with. We made several arrests on the beach when there was no beach patrol. Harrowing to walk out onto the sand to make an arrest. You never knew when you’d get hit in the back by a “sand” bomb. I remember Jimmie was into dune buggies. He invited my wife Bonnie and I to go out to the desert with him and his wife Jill. I don’t think the ladies cared for dune buggies. Jimmie and I did most of the driving and riding. Our weekend was cut short due to a bad wind storm that kicked up the sand. So we had to head back home. Jimmie will surely be missed by his family and friends and former coworkers. Rest in Peace My Good Friend. Thoughts and Condolences to Jill and the Family. Love and Blessings.
