Kenneth Lee Blount was born December 13, 1931, in Spring Bay, Illinois and passed away January 17, 2024. He was raised in Spring Bay and later worked for Peoria Tire and Vulcanizing for over 30 years as a Route Salesman.

Kenneth was married to Levita (Bridges) Blount in June of 1955. They were married for 54 years, and had one son, Steven Blount. Kenneth retired to Florida for a time before moving to Missouri to be closer to his family.

Kenneth loved his antique cars and driving them in parades, especially his 1961 Cadillac Convertible. He would drive it all over Central Illinois. He also loved to bowl, play softball, cards, and bingo with friends.

Kenneth was a proud U.S. Army veteran and also really enjoyed spending time with his friends who also served in the Army. He never knew a stranger.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Levita Blount.

He is survived by his son, Steven Blount, and wife Teresa Blount; 2 granddaughters, Victoria Blount, and Autumn Blount; and his sister, Nancy Lunini.
