As her grandson, I have so many memories of my grandmother. I remember when I was younger and she would take me in her car to go to all kinds of places, we would listen to classical music and just enjoy time with each other. I loved running errands with grandma when I was with her! We would play board games, go to movies, and just have the best times. We had many times where I stayed over at her house and she would get a bowl of cheez-its, some pecan sandies, and soda and we would just watch TV together or talk to each other. When I was younger and she lived in Lebanon I would go over to her house and jump in big piles of leaves in the backyard. I am going to miss my grandma so very much and remember her for the smart, funny, loving, creative, and kind grandma she was. Love you so much grandma.

As Sylvia’s granddaughter, I am blessed to have gotten as many beautiful memories as I did. My grandmother was funny, extremely talented and so kind. My fondest memories of her are when she would babysit us children. She would always have a pop and Cheez-its. She would play board games with us, take us to the movies and always loved to take us to the Route 66 Steak-n-shake in Springfield. She made the most beautiful and thoughtful cards for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, etc. She had the most elegant decorations in the house, she loved decorating with antique bunnies. The wonderful memories I have with her will last a lifetime. I am certainly blessed to have had such a great grandma.
