Mary Biser, age 97, of Springfield, MO was born January 16, 1927, in Ray County, MO and passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by family. Mary was united in marriage to Robert Biser on April 30, 1947, and they were blessed with two children, Kimberley and Bobby. Mary was an active Bridge player until recently and was known for her upbeat and competitive style which made her a player to be reckoned with. She played most of her Bridge games at Twin Oaks Country Club where she was a member since 1963. Through Bridge she developed many friendships that she cherished. Mary also had a love for gambling and she and Robert, prior to his passing, enjoyed visiting local casinos on a regular basis. Later in life, Mary cherished her daily conversations with her daughter and son as well as her niece, Liz, and cousin, Stephanie, as well as spending time with her special friends, Sarah, and the “Golden Girls”, Donna and Gaye.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Biser, parents Edward and Kathrine Hess, and her brother, George Hess. She leaves behind her children, Kimberley Bennett and her husband, Vernon, of Leawood, KS and Bobby Biser and his wife, Sheri, of Springfield, MO. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Brad Bennett and his wife, Katie, and Brian Bennett, and his wife, Kelly, and Mattea and Jenna Biser, five great-children, Ty, Rylee, Jackson, Caroline, and Isabelle, and special niece, Liz, and cousin, Stephanie.

A private memorial service for the family will be held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
