It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Flora Jeanetta Jones, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother. aunt and friend. Born on March 3, 1944, in Checotah, OK, to Clyde and Annie (Bailey) McMurray. Flora peacefully departed from this world on August 10, 2024, in Springfield, MO, surrounded by her loving family.
Flora dedicated her life to caring for her family as a devoted homemaker, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love. She will be fondly remembered by her daughters, Cindy Pendergrass and Teresa Casey, and her sister, Anita Craig, as well as her eleven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. Flora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Billie Jones, and her daughter: Michelle Andreatta.
The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Flora’s life at the Greenlawn Funeral Home North, on Saturday, 24, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Her compassionate nature and warmth will never be forgotten by those who knew her.
Flora’s kindness and gentle spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, forever in our hearts. Arrangments are entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
