William Alan Craven, 61, of Humansville, Missouri, passed away in Bolivar, Missouri, on September 21, 2024. Bill was born in Coffeyville, Kansas, on April 6, 1963, to Brent and Magada Craven. Bill attended school in Phillipsburg, Kansas, until he graduated in 1981. He and his family returned to Coffeyville in 1982, where Bill managed a Pizza Hut and also the location in Cherryvale, Kansas. He then managed a Radio Shack in the Kansas City area. Bill was also a Pinkerton Guard at a Kansas City International Airport Hotel. Bill finally settled on his favorite career, as an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed truck driving over the road for a number of years, and then became a local truck driver until his retirement.
Bill was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, one uncle, and his life partner, Pam Evans.
He is survived by his parents, Brent and Magada Craven; his significant other, Lillian Worley; his siblings: Glenn Eric Craven and Bethany Sue Littlebear; his nephews: Kevin Craven and Conner Murrell; his nieces, Megan Craven and Lillie “Wren” Craven; his and Lillian’s children: Tammy and Thomas Ellison, and many other family and friends. He will also be missed by his best friend, Brian Arnold.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel of Bolivar, Missouri. Services for Bill will be held at later date.
