Thomas Joseph Wilson, Springfield, MO, peacefully passed away on October 19, 2024, in his home. Born in St. Louis, MO on March 19, 1940, to David and Dorothy (Brown). Tom graduated in 1958 from Francis Howell High School in St. Charles, MO. While in his senior year of high school, he was the president of Missouri’s Future Farmers of America (FFA). Tom will always be remembered for his hard work and dedication to the many businesses he owned and operated and his dedication to his family and the Republican Party. In his spare time Tom loved gardening, collecting coins, spending time with his family and traveling with his beloved wife Terry.

Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Terry Wilson, his parents, David and Dorothy Wilson, his son, Steven Wilson along with his four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his loving children; Adam Wilson and his wife, Amanda, Danny LaRue, Dale Wilson, and Connie Wilson, his dear sister Ruthie Heck, and 8 adored grandchildren including Hope Roy and her husband, Tharron, Isabella Wilson, Landon Wilson, Brady Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Amber Wilson, Tascha Wilson and Nick LaRue, along with several great-grandchildren, and his nephew; Richard Wilson. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
