Jason Richard Lewis, 45, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on December 2, 2024. Jason was born on November 19, 1979, in Bakersfield, California, to Richard and Betty Lewis. Jason was a 1998 graduate of Fair Play High School. He enjoyed his career as an over-the-road truck driver, and over the last several years of his career he had been a dispatcher for Legacy Inc. Jason was a Rams fan, even after they moved to L.A. Jason was a storyteller, he loved to tell a good story. He loved to meet people, and everyone will remember him as being helpful and loyal. If you needed anything, you could always call Jason.

Jason is preceded in death by his dad, Richard Lewis, and his grandparents.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Lewis; his siblings: Ronald Lewis, Cheryl Star (Vanek), Kimberly Lawrence (Pat), and Kristina Bryant; his children: Kody Fisher (William), Samantha Lewis, and Jacob Lewis; his grandchildren: Liam and Harper; nieces and nephews: Stephanie Ashdown, Zachariah Lewis, Zoey Lawrence, and Christopher Lewis; special friend, Misty Lashley, and many other family and friends.

Jason was able to give some of his body through organ donation. His gift was able to help 75 people.

There will be a Gathering of Friends in honor of Jason’s life on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., at Pitts Chapel Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri.
