Jeffrey Dickey left a message on January 5, 2025:
Dear Dad, I am so ever grateful to call you my father and would not trade you for the world. I was truly blessed for you have always been there for me in great times and I’m not such so great times such as when you had to drive me to the Mayo Clinic in 2014 and 2017 for my own health issues. The memories we made from going to Walt Disney on my 12th birthday, to all the family vacations, fishing at Table Rock Lake numerous times when I was in high school, to vacationing to Colorado one year and Yellowstone the next with my children (Alexia & Landon), to going to football games, baseball games, golfing, hunting, and so much more. You had a tremendous impact on not only my life, but the lives of my two children. In later life, we were there for each other during your health issues or my health issues. I will never forget the numerous times we ate as father and son since Mom could not go. I am forever grateful for Landon and I to be able to come visit you, have dinner with you on your last Christmas Eve, and take you to see Mom on Christmas Day for her birthday one last time. I am also forever grateful for Landon and I to hold you hand as well as kiss you on your forehead just days before Heaven found a better calling for you. You tell my brother, Ronnie, I miss him too. You mean the world to me, a special bond between a father and son. I will miss you dearly and I love you to the Moon and back. You were and are still my Hero Dad. Love your son, Jeff
