Jim Miller left a message on January 17, 2025:
Marie, Mary, Eric, and Kelly, 🙏💖 I was deeply saddened to find that my Twin-Air Force Brother Larry has departed from his earthly life, and you will be missing his daily physical presence, but PRAISE THE LORD, he will continue residing in our hearts with his gentle spirit. I first met Larry in the Philippines in 1959, and what blessings we shared for the next 18 months, especially once we discovered that we shared the same birthdate. We were radio-intercept operators, worked the same shift, lived in the same open-bay barracks, ate our meals together, shared many activities on base, and traveled to several places on the island. My whole-hearted condolences to each of you, as I know that Larry will be missed. I thank our Lord for bringing Larry into each of our lives, and I thank Larry for accepting me as a friend when we were so young and far from home. Knowing Larry, he would not want us to be sad or broken-hearted. He would prefer that we would be smiling, and he'd be thanking us for our friendship, and for being a part of his life. As ever, Jim Miller 💖🙏

Larry and his wife Marie were in our Scripture study classes for years. Larry was a soft-spoken man who always brought a sense of humility and humor to our discussions. He was so proud of his wife and family, and his smile, his humor, and his love of God is something I will always remember. Peace and love to Marie and Mary and family.
