Farrell Leon Howard, a beloved husband, father, and uncle, peacefully left us on March 5, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on January 29, 1932, in Waxahachie, Texas, to Roscoe and Nell Howard. He was a retired licensed electrician from Owens Corning.
He was a beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather, and Friend. He loved to fish, being outdoors, travel, animals, and he was a jack of all trades. He loved Milkshakes and Honey Buns!
Farrell proudly served in the National Guard, a commitment he carried with pride throughout his life. He went on to earn an associate’s degree. Farrell’s legacy lives on through his loving family: his wife Carolyn Howard; his children Kelly Howard (Dana), Kevin Howard (Brenda), Kimberly Howard; his niece Sherry Gilbert (John); numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Grandchildren; and Special Friends, Aron & Midge Vad, and Ron Dunlap. He is preceded in death by his parents Roscoe Howard and Nell Howard; children Sandy Stokes, Pamela Puryear, Jeannie Skinner; and grandson Brad Stone.
The funeral service for Farrell will be at Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Monday, March 24, 2025, 11:00 AM, followed by a committal service at Missouri Veterans Service, at 1:00 PM. It will be a time to share memories, honor his spirit, and gather in support of one another as we say our goodbyes.
Farrell will be missed deeply but remembered fondly. He not only touched the lives of his family but also everyone who had the privilege to know him. Rest well, Farrell; your memory will forever be a blessing to us all.
