Kathrine Gay Hall, age 73, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on June 28, 2025, at Cox Health Medical Center South. Kathy was born to Howard and Mildred Cook on June 24, 1952 in Niangua, MO. Kathy attended school in Niangua, MO where she was a cheerleader, baton twirler, and accordion player. She graduated with a class of 20 students in 1970 and was crowned Miss Niangua in the same year.
Kathy worked in the Printing Department at Solo Cup Company for many years before retiring in 2011. She was united in marriage to Mike Hall on September 20, 1984 in Springfield, MO.
Kathy had a knack for crocheting beautiful, handmade blankets and she loved making these into personalized gifts for family and friends. She enjoyed shopping outings with friends, but most specifically picking out surprises for her four grandchildren, Katie Curtin, Will Curtin, Adalee Bridges, and Emberlee Bridges.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Howard Cook; mother, Mildred Cook; brother, Ronnie Cook; and daughters, Melissa Ann and Melinda Sue Pierce.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Mike Hall; and daughters, Monica Curtin and husband, Bill; and Kailey Bridges and husband, John; sisters Nancy Weiser and Bonnie Nichols and husband Jim. She was deeply loved by many family members and dear friends, all of whom were touched by her thoughtful heart and caring spirit.
Graveside services for Kathrine will be at 10:30 am Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Copening Cemetery in Niangua, Missouri.
Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home East.
